VRDL series is available in 4” and 6” sizes with a range of 1800K through 6500k in static white, tunable white, warm dim, red and amber color temperatures to adapt desired illumination to create a calm and comforting environment even under challenging situations. The series is fully compatible with both nLight® Wired and Wireless lighting control platforms.
To further promote a residential feel in institutional rooms while adding an architectural aesthetic, an IP66 flangeless, mud-in solution is available for both sizes.

VCM8 vandal resistant corner mount receives 2022 award

Luminaire LED Updates Luminaires to IP66 Rating
Three surface luminaires are now dust-tight and fully waterproof
Atlanta, GA, September 12, 2022 – Luminaire LED (luminaireled.com), an established leader in vandal-resistant lighting products, today announced its ANYX ARV17, ANYX ARV13, and Swoop SWP1212 surface luminaires have been enhanced to an IP66 rating.
With the introduction of the IP66 rating, the vandal-resistant architectural fixtures are now fully protected from dust entering the enclosure and can resist powerful jets of water. The improved durability of the surface luminaires makes them ideal for even the harshest environments.
Surface luminaires ANYX ARV17, with a 17” diameter, and ANYX ARV13, with a 13” diameter, each feature a classic circular form with various trim options. A durable, color-impregnated polycarbonate housing is supported by a marine grade, die-cast aluminum base plate. Both are available with a standard or high output LED, and ARV13 is also offered with an amber LED.
Swoop SWP1212 is a 12” x 12” luminaire that brings an architectural feel to a robust vandal resistant 5” deep square fixture. It too features a polycarbonate housing with a die-cast aluminum plate. Its curved lens is made from a one-piece injection molded UV stabilized prismatic polycarbonate with a minimum 0.140" wall thickness. Standard, amber, or high output LED options may be selected.All three luminaires are assembled in the USA and comply with the Buy America(n) Act (BAA) government procurement requirements under FAR, DFARS, and DOT.

Acuity Brands Acquires The Luminaires Group

TLG generates annual sales of approximately $100 million and employs over 350 associates located across five locations in the U.S. and Canada. Apex 13 - Optional Full Cut-Off Lens

New Path of Egress Luminaire
EDISON, NJ, October 10, 2018 - Luminaire LED proudly introduces our second product in the family of full cut-off, path of egress luminaires, the Blade. Drawing on over 40 years designing Vandal Resistant lighting, the Blade provides a tough, resilient product in a package that will complement architectural designs.
The Blade features a clean, angular construction and can be mounted on mullions as narrow as 2½” and is designed to disappear into the structure when mounted above a door or walkway. Multiple lengths and lumen packages are available as well as Integral battery back up.

Endeavor Update
EDISON, NJ, January 8, 2018 - The Endeavor stairwell luminaire continues to gain momentum and has become popular with both specifiers and distributors due to its performance, rich array of features and attractive price. Most important is when wall mounted, the 50 watt unit will help your specifier to meet both Life Safety Code and local energy codes such as IECC or ASHRAE 90.1.
Compact Fluorescent Lamps
Effective immediately we are discontinuing all CFL products. We bid a fond (maybe not so fond) farewell to all PL-S, PL-C and PL-T lamped fixtures. We will no longer accept orders for compact fluorescent products. Contact us if you require assistance in locating equal lumen packages in LED. CFL spec sheets will be removed from the web site this month.

New Stairwell Luminaire
EDISON, NJ, July 16, 2017 - Luminaire LED proudly introduces our second product in the family of stairwell luminaires, the Endeavor or ESF. Drawing on our experience with the TSL, the Endeavor gives you a more budget friendly product with a host of additional options.
The Endeavor is a vandal resistant, DLC listed, dedicated stairwell fixture designed to meet the stringent code requirements for means of egress stairwells. Designed for wall mounting, at 50 watts under normal power it will deliver the lumens required to achieve the 10 fc minimum required by Life Safety 101 (Section: 7.8.1.3) as well as meeting codes for power reduction when the stairwell is unoccupied. Unoccupied low levels of 10%, 20%, 30% or 50% are field adjustable. Integral battery back up is also available.
The Endeavor uses an integral High Frequency Motion Detector, capable of sensing motion from behind the lens. This feature allows us to offer the ESF as an optional WET location product.
Additional Functions:
- Group control as well as multiple sensors per group control is easily accomplished
- Adjustable detection area control
- Standard time-out function as well as a Stand-by Corridor Function, which can turn the fixture off after a second preset time
- Preset Daylight Function that can easily be adjusted or disabled in the field
Programmable Ambient Daylight Threshold allows the luminaire to “learn” what daylight levels will not trigger the fixture to full on
New Recessed Confinement
EDISON, NJ, March 9, 2017 - We are proud to introduce an expansion of our High Security Confinement series, the Super Max Recessed family of products. The Super Max Recessed Luminaire is available in four different sizes with lumen packages up to 10,387 delivered lumens. Fixtures are available for either grid or flange ceiling designs. We offer an optional flange kit to convert from grid to flange setup in the field, or the flange can be removed to covert from a flange to a grid fixture if job conditions change. All sizes are available with 14 or 16 gauge doors in either painted cold rolled steel or brushed stainless steel and lens thickness up to .75 inches.

Discontinuations
EDISON, NJ, December 2, 2016 – The following discontinuation notices have been issued:
Discontinued – HID
Effective January 3, 2017, Luminaire LED will no longer produce any HID products. At that time
all HID spec sheets and links to spec sheets, IES files, and Revit files will be removed from our web site.
In January you will receive an updated price book with all HID pages removed.
Discontinued – 42-PLT and 57-PLT Products
Effective immediately we are discontinuing all 42-watt and 57-watt PLT products. The expense
and lack of efficiency makes LED not only the better choice, but also a less expensive solution. New, redesigned spec sheets are currently being developed with complete removal of this lamp combination to be uploaded to our website by January. For the immediate future we will continue to produce products with 13, 18 and 26-watt PLC lamps as well as 32 watt PLT lamps.
DLC Listed Products
We now have 43 catalog items that are DLC listed with more on the way. The Stair Lighter (TSL),
Anyx (ARV13) and Vertex (CLF) products are now all DLC listed. The Swoop (SWP) 610 and 1212 are in the process of being listed with additional products listed early next year. Please check the DLC Qualified Products List at www.designlights.org/QPL for listed configuration details.
